New business opportunities for Sesco's ProSYS customers

July 2004 News & Events

Sesco, in conjunction with Rokonet, a leading provider of security solutions throughout the world, recently launched integrated access control for the ProSYS security systems, enabling ProSYS installers to serve an additional market. From now on, Sesco's customers may install access control together with the ProSYS using the same programming logic.

Rokonet has answered the call of security professionals around the world who were in search of professional, cost-effective integrated systems with access control for its business clients. Realising that the future of the security industry lies in integrated systems, Rokonet has added this option to its ProSYS line of integrated systems.

With ProSYS control panels, end-users can have the benefit of access control, as well as having all their security and automation needs answered in one easy-to-operate system. In addition, they value the convenience of dealing with only one security provider for installation, service, and payments. The system's unique scalability allows it to grow together with the customer. A small business can begin with two doors and expand to 16 over time, at its own pace, saving the expense of a new system. With the smart access controllers available with Rokonet's ProSYS line, upgrades can be made using existing readers of every type - reducing costs, increasing productivity and making businesses safer and more efficient.

The Access Control Software provides an intuitive Windows interface that simplifies the programming, monitoring and management of the system. In addition, queries, searches and sorting of the event log by date and time, doors, users and specific events enable quick pinpointing information required by the user.

Among the many features of the Access Control module are: true anti pass back and an option to arm/disarm the system at the partition level using an access control card. The system also enables up to 1000 events recorded per controller, up to 999 users and up to 25 weekly schedules.

Rokonet, a member of the Risco Group, is a provider of integrated security systems and intruder alarms for commercial, industrial, institutional and residential installations.
