Sensormatic Mining Technologies has access to some of the world's leading electronic security technology. Sensormatic SA is the long-standing business partner of Sensormatic Electronics Corporation, now part of the Tyco Security Products Group, whose brands include American Dynamics surveillance as well as C-Cure access control systems. In addition, Sensormatic SA has recently secured the regional agency for Swiss-based FAST Video Security AG, whose network-based digital video recording systems are increasingly viewed as the preferred choice for surveillance and monitoring requiring a high level of security.

Comments Paul Frewen, "Having now established a dedicated team of specialists with in-depth knowledge, relationships and experience of the industry, we are now in a position to present a formal offering to mines. An initial project at Barberton involving a video and audio over IP digital surveillance system is already underway, and we will shortly be announcing a number of other major projects within the industry, both within South Africa and beyond."

Sensormatic Mining Technologies offers expertise and service in risk management consultancy, video surveillance systems, asset control and tracking, access control and building management, as well as project management skills enabling the integration of a wide variety of other sub-systems.
