Wainstein retired - new era for Elvey

Paul Wainstein has retired and left Elvey Security Technologies, after 22 years of achievement at the company, and will relocate to Houston, Texas (US). Says Jack Edery, CEO of Elvey, "This decision has been discussed with the Elvey directors, who are fully supportive and understanding of Paul's decision. I take this opportunity to thank Paul for his commitment and dedication over the past years and wish him all the best in his future endeavours."

The new executive and senior management team at Elvey are now as follows:

Jack Edery (chief executive officer), Andrew Stead (managing director Africa and exports), Dave Waywell (coastal operations director and regional director), Wayne Krahner (inland product director and regional director) and Stephan Martinuessen (financial manager).

According to Andrew Stead, who, as managing director, reports to Jack Edery as the Elvey Security Technologies CEO, the South African business remains split into two regions with Dave Waywell and Wayne Krahner attending to their regional responsibilities. Says Stead, "Wayne Krahner, will, with immediate effect, be responsible to the board for all product related issues, these include sourcing and evaluation. Wayne will be assisted by Matthew Short, national product manager and Gideon Wheeler, who both bring along a wealth of experience in their respective fields. Heading up the national training will be Adrian Willis."
