The complete range of FBII's XL series of control panels is available locally from Honeywell including the well-known XL-2T. The XL-2T is hailed as the 'turbocharged' version of the XL-2 since it features several enhancements over the standard model.
The XL-2T has seven fully programmable zones and the seventh zone can be programmed with any zone type, providing an extra zone, while a built in two-channel siren driver, offering a choice of sounds, lowers overall installation costs.
A large number of user codes provide flexibility for all installations, including door strike, arm only and ambush user codes. The XL-2T maintains the past 78 events with time-stamp within the history buffer. This buffer can be viewed by an installer on-site through an LCD keypad or retrieved remotely through the PC downloading software. This provides an audit trail of activity and a powerful troubleshooting tool.
The unit also features two separate voltage level triggers for a variety of system and zone conditions. This flexibility provides many different revenue opportunities with more than 30 trigger types available. Each trigger can be selected for normal or inverted operation to interface with a variety of devices.
The XL-2T can auto-arm at a specified time of the day, providing a very sought after function for both residential and commercial customers. Options exist to arm the panel in AWAY, INSTANT, STAY or INSTANT STAY modes. There is even an option to provide an audible warning to users two minutes prior to the auto arming time.
