8-partition control panel

April 2003 Integrated Solutions

Available locally from Honeywell, Ademco's VISTA-120 is an 8-partition commercial burglary control panel that supports up to 128 zones using basic hardwired, multiplex, and wireless zones.

The panel can be connected to the Ademco Passpoint system to provide a fully integrated security and access control system and can report opening and closing by exception. This cuts down on central station traffic, thus reducing phone line charges. Up to three partitions can be assigned as common areas that can be automatically armed and disarmed.

This VISTA-120 is well suited for a variety of burglary control applications. A diverse range of Ademco initiating devices supports this panel. Applications that use VISTA-120 include medical and professional buildings, supermarkets, office buildings, schools, universities, shopping malls, larger residences and factory or warehouse environments.

The VISTA-120 provides advanced scheduling features such as time and data schedules for controlling user code access to the protected areas, relays and automatic arming. Up to 16 programmable holidays, daily and weekly schedules, one-week look ahead temporary schedules, and same day override of daily schedules are supported.

A time-and-date stamped 224 event log is viewable through the downloader, 6139 LCD keypad, or on-site printer. The VISTA-120 can control up to 96 different devices within the home or place of business. These devices can be activated by: wireless devices, wired keypads, VIP phone module, system events, timed events and/or schedules, manual bypass of any zone whether the system is armed or disarmed.

In addition, audio alarm verification can be provided in conjunction with a microphone/speaker audio control unit and video alarm verification in conjunction with ADEMCO's up to 8-camera video transmitter.
