1 August 2019 News & Events, Conferences & Events

The Residential Estate Security Conference 2019 will be held on 20 August 2019, once again at the Indaba Hotel in Fourways, Johannesburg. This year will see a variety of specialists addressing various aspects of estate security, from manned guarding through to technology, the integration of the two, as well as the ways in which artificial intelligence can enhance your security without costing a fortune.

You can’t turn around these days without hearing about how artificial intelligence (AI) is changing the world. In reality, there has been an enormous amount of AI research and development over the past few years with the resultant technology impacting many industries and sectors – including security.

The reality, however, is that we are only starting to see the impact of AI and its various branches in the security world. Gerhard Furter will deliver the keynote the Residential Estate Security Conference 2019. Gerhard will give delegates a brief introduction into what AI really is, the various disciplines within the AI banner, and most importantly, what AI can really to for estates to enhance their security and operational efficiencies.

Finally, he will also provide delegates with a practical demonstration of what AI is capable of doing today.
