Techpro wins Makro CCTV project

Techpro has been awarded the contract to supply the CCTV surveillance and alarm system at the new Makro Strubens Valley Store.

The system which Makro chose is fully digital and is able to record all of the cameras installed both indoors and outside for approximately nine days, with additional archiving available if required. The system integrates the CCTV and alarm system and will automatically activate one of the high speed PTZ cameras to focus on the point of alarm when triggered.

"The system installed at Makro utilises the latest digital technology available and is configured for integration into a remote surveillance network," says Mike Caffery of Techpro.

The system is designed for the future, when all of Makro's stores may be monitored from a single off-site surveillance control room.
