EntryProx rights awarded to TeqTrader

May 2002 Access Control & Identity Management

TeqTrader has been granted distribution rights to the market, HID's standalone access control product - EntryProx.

Providing single-door proximity access control, EntryProx is suitable for small installations or remote locations when used in conjunction with an on-line system. This rugged unit can be modified easily to become an on-line reader, by switching to a Wiegand output mode, allowing it to connect to any OEM controller. EntryProx is compatible with all HID proximity cards and keytags.

This standalone reader features invalid pin lockout, batch load by presentation, a 12-position keypad, timed anti-passback to prevent multiple reads when the unit is in Wiegand mode and a block delete facility to allow deletion of a sequential range of cards/keytags. A detachable antenna module can be mounted up to 10 feet away from the control unit, indoors or outdoors and an optional handheld printer option is available to print transactions via an infrared link.
