Revolutionising installation times

November 2008 News & Events

Elvey Security Technologies has commenced a national roadshow attended by more than 300 security professionals and valued customers in the key urban centres of Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town. One of the main features of the event is the latest DSC PowerSeries 9045 Self-Contained Wireless Security Panel, a highly anticipated, self-contained wireless product that is guaranteed to revolutionise the speed at which wireless systems are installed.

With PowerSeries 9045, installation times are significantly reduced when compared with traditional hybrid systems. This offers installers the opportunity to increase the number of implementations they can complete in a day.

“The PowerSeries 9045 not only eliminates the clutter and expense of pulling wire to sensor and detector accessories, it also has the smallest footprint of any self-contained wireless alarm system available,” says Tim Myers, 9045 product manager from DSC, Canada. “Not only is the PowerSeries 9045 from DSC compatible with all sensors and detectors, the system is also fully upgradeable to 32 wireless zones and two hardwired zones. Having a wireless range of 350 m and using the latest 868 MHz radio frequency makes it flexible enough for a wide variety of applications.”

Myers continues: “Best of all, it has the same functionality as the proven hardwired PowerSeries Systems, but with the added bonus of consistent programming structure, template programming and wireless quick enrol, which helps to reduce programming and install time.”

“These one-day roadshows are the best fast-track opportunity available for security professionals and installers to get up to speed quickly and easily as they plan for the move to the latest generation of wireless technology,” says Jack Edery, chief executive of Elvey. “By providing installers with the very best products and information, the roadshow informs, enlightens and enables our valued customers to find out how they can pull increased revenue, rather than just wires.”
