The Nemtek Group manufactures and distributes intelligent, electronic security and perimeter control systems. It has an R&D team designing and manufacturing a full range of globally competive security electric fencing products. With distributors in Europe, Australasia, China, Taiwan, South America, Central America and throughout Africa, It is continuously striving for an increased share of the global security electric fencing market.

The Nemtek group as it stands today has its roots in two different organisations - Nemtek and IO Tech Manufacturing which, due to the compatibility of the respective operations, led to an agreement to amalgamate into one vertically integrated company.

IO Tech Manufacturing has been involved in the security industry since 1990, specialising in the research, development and manufacturing of electric fence energisers and related products. It has now obtained ISO9001:2000 certification and has become a leader in the manufacture of electric security fence energisers.

Nemtek started distributing a full range of perimeter detection products in 1991 and is currently the largest distributor of electric security fencing products in South Africa.

Today, the company manufactures a complete range of electric fencing products compliant with the latest national and international standards.
