This year’s 'SECURITY' exhibition takes place from 5 to 8 October 2010 in Essen, Germany.
This exhibition is held every second year and this year is the 19th Security exhibition held thus far. Whilst it is not as well-known in South Africa as IFSEC for example, it is just as big and just as impressive in every respect – and well worth a visit.
For those who are planning a visit to this exhibition, GEUTEBRÜCK GmbH – a German manufacturer of CCTV systems - is showcasing their new re_porter-IP/SE NVR, an entry-level IP server; their GeViScope-AS/R, a new high performance video analysis server; as well as a new independent SD-Card Nano-DVR facility for their IP cameras.
Another highlight is the 'Pilot', the next generation iPad-like, operator keyboard from GEUTEBRÜCK, with pure ergonomic design and well-thought out modular functionality.
GEUTEBRÜCK will also announce another first for the CCTV industry – which is their new 'OMNIBRID' multistandard video processing OVR (omnibrid video reecorder). This is a ground-breaking innovation which offers M-JPEG, MPEG and H.264-based standards as well as specialist CCTV standards (MPEG4CCTV and H.264 CCTV) to be used in the same system. It even allows event-controlled switching between them, during recording. It accepts analogue, digital, megapixel and even 16/9 HD-format cameras (including ONVIF standard). And it supports real-time signal re-coding and enables video analysis – even on IP cameras without any on-board video analysis capability.
