MiRO Distribution

1 May 2016 News & Events, Conferences & Events

MiRO, winner of the Securex stand award in the 48 m²+ category for the past two years, has this year designed an extremely interactive stand. The stand is divided into a number of distinct areas. On the first two sections wireless products, surveillance cameras, as well as software and analytics offerings will be displayed as total, holistic security solutions. Other areas will concentrate on brand-specific products, such as Uniview.

Uniview IP cameras, network video recording systems and video management software offer industry-leading technology at extremely competitive prices. Uniview cameras feature advanced network auto adaptability which allows for uninterrupted communication, even where slow or low bandwidth is an issue, such as wireless connections during harsh weather.

Uniview network video recorders have PoE+ output ports that allow cameras to be connected and powered over distances of up to 200 m over CAT5 cable. Uniview NVRs feature Uniview Block Storage, providing much higher disk efficiency and allows instant playback for recordings.

A number of new products from Ubiquiti will also be featured, including the UniFi Video Camera G3 dome with a wide-angle lens and 1080p video performance for expanded surveillance coverage; the UniFi Switch; the EdgeSwitch Fiber Gigabit fibre switch; the Rocket 5ac Prism radio and the LiteBeam.

Another wireless brand, Siklu, delivers wireless Ethernet connectivity at Gigabit speeds in the interference-free and licence-exempt 60 GHz spectrum. Siklu point-to-point links are fast to deploy to backhaul capacity-hungry video surveillance cameras, Wi-Fi hotspots, Gigabit-To-The-Home (GTTH) and business broadband services.

MiRO will also display technology from VIVOTEK, such as its SD9364-EHL speed dome camera. With 150 M IR illuminators and a 30x optical zoom lens, is specifically designed for high-quality surveillance in wide open areas, even in conditions where light is totally absent. It is the first PTZ surveillance camera with IR Illumination to make use of H.265 compression technology.
