Duxbury Networking

1 May 2016 News & Events, Conferences & Events

Duxbury Networking will be highlighting future-ready security solutions for physical and virtual networks at Securex 2016. Under the spotlight will be next-generation firewalls and unified threat management (UTM) appliances from Cyberoam Technologies, a global network security appliances provider.

They are designed to protect both the physical and virtual aspects of the network through user-identity-based policy controls which promote proactive security. Hacking, spam, spyware, insider risks, vanishing trust boundaries and a lack of compliance management are the main threats posed to organisations today which translate into mushrooming levels of industrial espionage and the theft of critical data and images.

Other security-related offerings from Duxbury include networking, storage and digital media products from Netgear, as well as newly-released wireless networking solutions from Cambium, Proxim and Ligowave.

In addition, Duxbury Networking’s portfolio of ACTi IP video surveillance systems, including cameras and network video recorder (NVR) platforms, is targeted at organisations’ physical security demands, while its Lantech range of industrial grade networking products – including switches, converters and accessories – are aimed at applications in harsh operating environments, where, from a security perspective, the risks and impact of physical incursions, theft and even terrorism can feature highly.

These offerings are backed by technical advice and support from Duxbury Networking and are available nationwide through accredited Duxbury dealers and resellers.
