IFSEC South Africa 2014 will see Centurion officially unveiling the SupaHelix access control and monitoring system with GSM capability. The GSM module bolsters the unit’s memory capable of storing up to 10 000 individual remote buttons with an additional 10 000 users’ mobile phones, all of which can be used to access the property, control other devices and monitor inputs such as alarm activations.
In what can be seen as a natural progression, Centurion has taken GSM monitoring and control into the realm of mobile applications. The Centurion GSM mobi app – currently available as a free download for iOS and Android users – delivers a good-looking and intuitive mobile interface that users can employ to administer and control their Centurion MyGSM devices.
Homeowners that don’t have mains power at their entrance gates can now also enjoy the security and convenience of powerful, feature-rich and reliable gate automation thanks to Centurion’s new low-voltage sliding gate operators, the D5-Evo Low-Voltage and the D2 Turbo Low-Voltage.
The new GSM-based intercom system, G-SPEAK, combines the security and convenience of wireless connectivity with the flexibility of remote activation by allowing users to use their mobile phones as their intercom handset. This delivers a robust and effective visitor screening solution for the domestic security market.
