Specialised Battery Systems has a range of Energy Storage Systems (ESS) available, both standard and custom designed to suit customer requirements.

The ESS system is essentially a battery backup system combined with an intelligent solar system which allows the customer to:

1.) Have an extended backup period (almost indefinite if designed correctly).

2.) Reduces electrical consumption and associated costs for the specified circuits.

The system maximises the usage of the solar output by supplying whatever is available directly to running loads, while any excess is used to charge the battery. Only a portion of the battery is used daily, while the largest percentage is preserved for operation during power outages. The result is a more reliable, longer running backup system
