Centurion Systems has appointed Luan Botes as the new sales manager for the company’s Johannesburg head office. In this role, Luan will be responsible for leading the head office sales team as well as maintaining and cultivating relationships with Centurion’s clients, which include installers, distributors and end-users located in the northern and western regions of Johannesburg.
Luan, who started with the company in 2015 as an external sales representative, brings with him 11 years’ technical sales experience in a variety of different environments, from corporate sales to personal selling. Moreover, he possesses extensive knowledge of the manufacturer’s wide range of access automation solutions, and hopes to apply his mentoring skills to take the team to even greater heights.
“I once read that ‘you miss a 100% of the shots you don’t take’”, says Botes about his personal philosophy with regards to selling. “If you don’t take that chance, you’ll never know.”
