Online access control training

August 2018 Training & Education, Access Control & Identity Management

This is a self-paced online training programme with interactive audio-visual content, including animations and hands on experience, pre- and post-tests. You will be introduced to the history of access control and how an access control system works, and its key applications.

Furthermore, you will learn about the principles, types and features of the different access components, such as credentials, input devices, controllers and output devices. The course also covers an overview of the different parameters and options which need programming and also understand system design configurations.

Students will also learn about installation issues and the maintenance methods for access control systems.

The online training course includes a test conducted before training to gauge your pre-course understanding, as well as a test consisting of 25 questions after completing the course to demonstrate your competence.

A certificate of completion will be issued to students who get more than 65% in the final test. This certificate is recognised by a number of institutions, such as ASIS, BISCI and others.
