Sasol chooses Flow Systems turnstiles

Sasol recently placed another order with Flow Systems for a large number of high-quality industrial full-height turnstiles.

In the early 1990s, the Sasol group appointed representatives from its technical, security and management teams to look into the question of replacing the existing access control system, with the main criteria being reliability, speed of transaction and easy maintenance. After a thorough investigation, the group chose Flow Systems’ full-height turnstiles as the product met and exceeded the necessary requirements.

Almost 100 Flow Systems’ turnstiles were supplied and installed at Sasol and they are still working reliably today.

Commenting on the choice of Flow Systems, Hannes van Greuning of Sasol, said: “We are happy with Flow Systems’ products. We are not looking for the short-term cheapest alternative, as our main concern is long-term viability and Flow Systems certainly provide this. Results so far have been marvellous, with the increased traffic speed and reliability making a difference to efficiency.

“Considering quantities ordered and time available, Flow Systems production did remarkably well. They kept promised dates, they assisted with installation and all turnstiles worked 100 percent from day one.”
