R100 000 reward for information on cash-in-transit robbery

SBV Services is offering a R 100 000 reward for information that leads to the successful arrests and conviction of the perpetrators involved in a cash-in-transit robbery in Delton, Pietermaritzburg on Monday, 2 July 2018.

An unknown number of perpetrators confronted a three-man team while delivering cash to a retail site. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken.

SBV’s Risk and Compliance team is working closely with the SAPS to apprehend the suspects. Details of the robbery cannot be disclosed as an investigation is underway.

SBV appeals to members of the public with any information on this attack or any other cash- in-transit crime to notify the authorities immediately. SBV’s Early Warning Robbery Hotline is active 24/7 and members of the public may contact 083 408 7029 to provide information to SBV’s investigations team. All callers can be assured that confidentiality is maintained.
