Security Warehouse has three divisions; distribution of security products directly to trade clients, a turnkey project management service supporting both project managers and end users, and a fully equipped SASSETA and PSIRA accredited training centre which offers the latest technology and product training.

Some of the courses on offer include:

• Introduction to CCTV

Date: 11 – 13 July 2018

Intro to CCTV is a 3-day course and will cover the following areas: direct current, alternating current, semi-conductors, CCTV terminology, methodology, how to do a professional quote. It also includes tool uses, camera set-up, check list, basic fault-finding, doing CCTV quotes, installations tips, law regarding installations, pricing and sales techniques.

Cost: R 3 300.00 incl VAT


• Access control

Date: 19 – 20 July 2018

Access control is a 2-day course and will cover the following areas: concepts of access control, access control architecture and hardware devices.

Cost: R 2 200.00 incl VAT


• Alarm & fire detection

Date: 28 July 2018

What is intrusion and fire detection? This course covers the basic components of alarms for intrusion and fire detection, installing alarms and fire detection (wired or wireless), basic programming of the control panel, the essentials of By-Law 25, checklist and certificate of compliance, and signing up a maintenance contract.
