Upgrade your security skills with Hi-Tech Security Solutions

June 2018 Editor's Choice, News & Events, Training & Education

Hi-Tech Security Solutions has partnered with STAM Interactive Solutions to offer online training courses on the latest security technology to the African continent. The courses on offer are all vendor independent and suitable for everyone in the physical security industry looking to improve their knowledge and skills, including end users, installers, system integrators, technical sales staff, consultants and more.

The subject of security is highly technical and is made up of many different and emerging technologies. Each of these technologies is complex and is undergoing continuous change. This makes it difficult for anyone in the industry to keep up with the latest trends. STAM understands this and has designed a wide range of online training courses to meet industry requirements.

Since the courses are online, they are available to suit each individual’s schedule and everyone learns at their own pace. To date, over 15 000 students from 60 countries have completed these courses. The courses currently available include:

• CCTV & digital video

• IP networking

• Access control

• Fibre optic technology

• Biometric technology

• Basic electricity

• Wireless technology

STAM online courses have been approved for continuing education by different security associations and government bodies, including ASIS International and BICSI, ensuring they meet international standards in terms of skills and knowledge transfer.

Individual or corporate accounts

Courses can be ordered online by individuals or companies looking to provide security training to employees. Discounts are available when more than one course is purchased, and the course only starts when you start learning for the first time.

Corporate and multi-user accounts are also available. These accounts also attract discounts and the administrator can allocate new courses to existing students or register new students as required. The administrator will also be able to track student progress through pre- and post-test scores, the amount of time spent on the courses and certification programme.
