NFC ID app

The CSN SELECT series is a multi-credential technology of contactless smartcard (13.56 MHz) and PIN code readers that can read the card serial number (CSN) of many smartcard RFID standards, allowing for the issuing of a cost-effective solution for each site. They are also useful for transitioning from one technology to another.

Available in multiple mounting options, including anti-vandal models, the series features an IP65 rating that can fit comfortably in any installation environment, indoors or outdoors. With the new release, clients using Rosslare technology are able to secure their facilities’ entries and exits using personal Android devices as identification. This new app makes access control more cost-effective and convenient for Rosslare clients everywhere.

The app is available for download by Rosslare clients at the Google Play Store. Upon installation, Android smartphone users each have a unique credential within their mobile devices, which may be enrolled to an access control system to grant them access to the protected facilities that they are cleared to enter and exit when used with any CSN SELECT reader.

The main benefits of this technology are to increase the end-user productivity and efficiency by allowing the supported smartphone to be used as a contactless credential, eliminating the need for physical card deployment.
