MiRO adds ZKTeco products

1 April 2018 News & Events, Access Control & Identity Management

MiRO has added the ZKTeco range of IP access control solutions to its growing portfolio. According to MiRO product manager, Gavin de Kock, this strategic move allows the company to offer its customers a holistic wireless solution that leverages the company’s IP networking expertise.

Besides the fact that ZKTeco’s access control products have earned their stripes in the industry, they have the added benefit of being IP based, making them complementary products for IP specialists. Selecting an IP-based access control and time and attendance brand like ZKTeco allows customers to make use of their existing networking and wireless infrastructures when controlling and monitoring access. ZKTeco users will also benefit from being able to operate their products over the longer physical distances afforded by MiRO’s outdoor wireless products as opposed to the distance limitations of the more traditional RS-485 communications medium.

“The ZKTeco products can seamlessly integrate into existing Wi-Fi systems and can even be used in conjunction with other wireless IP technologies, which makes them highly scalable and quickly deployable with the benefit of remote operation. In addition, due to the fact that minimal cabling is required, customers save on the infrastructural costs and issues involved with hardwired solutions,” says De Kock.

With over 50 products and accessories in the ZKTeco access control range, there is a solution available for every industry and application need. De Kock points out that the range is attractive due to its high performance to low cost ratio. “Adopting a wireless access solution is now an affordable reality with these products and together we can provide an end-to-end wireless solution that covers all parameters required by customers.”
