Multi-biometric finger-vein standalone terminal

ZKteco South Africa has launched the inPulse+, a multi-biometric reader capable of capturing and processing finger vein and fingerprint biometric data at the same time. Ergonomic, intuitive and highly secured, its infrared rays illuminate the vein pattern which is then converted into a biometric template. Both the vein and fingerprint templates are then stored in the database for subsequent matching.
This device forms part of ZK’s Green Label range, which is a project-oriented high-end product line, loaded with innovative features such as the Silk ID fingerprint sensor with 3D NFPV technology, capable of providing performance with dry, wet and rough fingerprints. The new hardware platform is equipped with an optimised fast 1.2 GHz processor, dramatically increasing verification speed. Verification modes include finger vein/fingerprint/card/password.
