Paxton and Hikvision partnership

Paxton Access has announced the integration of its networked access control system, Net2, with Hikvision. The integration will provide a user-friendly interface to manage building security more easily.

This seamless integration allows for the easy configuration of network video ­recorders (NVR), digital video recorders (DVR) and camera detection with access control. Cameras can be associated to individual doors, enabling users to monitor video associated to access events. This provides a more comprehensive service for users, enabling them to take necessary actions both in real-time and post-events.

Keen Yao, international marketing director at Hikvision, said: “The integration provides a value-added solution to Hikvision and Paxton customers. It will help identify and address suspicious activities, making security system management simple and more time-efficient.”
