SALTO and Maxxess strategic partnership

March 2015 News & Events

SALTO Systems and Maxxess have announced a strategic partnership. The collaboration brings together SALTO’s Virtual Network (SVN) with Maxxess’ universal security management software, eFusion to deliver a powerful integrated platform for managing both online and offline access points.

The integration combines flexible and efficient wireless SVN access control with eFusion’s command and control capability. When an access incident occurs, eFusion presents operators with accurate details from SVN, along with visual verification through its integrated surveillance capability. Displayed policies and procedures provide the information necessary for security teams to initiate a fast and appropriate response. The result is reduced operator interaction together with automated reporting, which improves productivity, fills security gaps, enforces compliance with standard operating procedures, and acts as a force multiplier for multi-site operations.

Marc Handels, chief marketing and sales officer (CMSO), SALTO Systems, says, “The integration with eFusion extends the value and benefits our customers can now realise from their online SALTO SVN solution. With SVN we have already eliminated lock re-programming, re-keying and the hard wiring of buildings to create greater efficiencies and cost savings for our customers. eFusion builds on this with a range of off-the-shelf integrations that improve the productivity of security teams whilst increasing resilience through faster and more accurate responses to an ever changing landscape of threats.”

Nancy Islas, President, Maxxess Systems, adds: “Our partnership with SALTO provides our customers the added benefit of its online wireless networked electronic locking solution, as an integral part of the eFusion platform. Our eFusion software continues to lead the industry with off-the-shelf integrations that include more third-party systems than any other security platform, providing customers with the scalability to future-proof their security investments.”
