Cathexis joins Mining Indaba 2015

February 2015 News

Cathexis Technologies will be exhibiting at the Investing in Africa Mining Indaba 2015, to be held from 9-12 February 2015 in Cape Town. The company will be showcasing its range of CathexisVision surveillance software solutions at the South African National Pavilion.

“The Mining Indaba exhibition provides us with the ideal platform, from which to promote our products and services to a wider audience,” says Gus Brecher, managing director of Cathexis Africa and group marketing director for Cathexis Technologies. “With successful installations in some of the world’s largest coal, diamond, copper and platinum mines, Cathexis have built a solid reputation as a leading surveillance solutions provider for the mining sector.”

With a strong emphasis on ease-of-use, CathexisVision offers a camera agnostic, user-friendly interface that facilitates efficient and accurate installations. So whether the surveillance requirement is for a single site, or multiple, cross-border mining operations, the CathexisVision software meets the demands of every application.

It offers a fully integrated control room environment, reduces the risk of human error, enables the management of notifications from multiple systems, and provides improved forensic analysis of events. The integration of multiple systems (perimeter systems, access control, alarm panels and fire panels), provides dramatically improved efficiency and accuracy. The Cathexis open platform provides a customisable camera application, to suit specific requirements.
