OneVault has announced the launch of its hosted Proof-of-Life voice biometric solution which assists companies to confirm identity and life via a remote channel.
Proof-of-Life or Certificate of Existence is a requirement of many organisations, specifically the likes of governments, pension and insurance companies, where they require their customers to produce a certificate signed by a trusted entity to confirm that the individual is still alive. The current processes implemented by many organisations are often both onerous and stressful for the individual and generally result in a huge administrative task for the organisation processing the Proof-of-Life.
Implementing an automated Proof-of-Life process can drive significant efficiency all round. For individuals, it means confirming their identity remotely with minimal amount of effort via a convenient channel – the telephone. For organisations, implementing an automated Proof-of-Life process, will deliver convenient real-time reporting across their entire customer base which can then be used to trigger or validate payments upon proof-of-life confirmation.
