Mirasys management software

August 2014 Integrated Solutions

Founded in 1997 and based in Helsinki, Finland, Mirasys is at the forefront of acquisition, analysis, storage and presentation of high-definition video and audio. A full open platform approach ensures easy integration of cameras, with over 1500 camera models already supported. Full ONVIF support further increases the range of cameras supported and any type of VCA can also be integrated on the system.

Apart from supporting the widest range of cameras possible, Mirasys aims to provide an all in one software package to suit a wide range of applications. Ease of use in viewing cameras and playback, installation and system management reduces installation time and increases customer satisfaction, which leads to lower operating costs. Unrivalled scalability allows the system to be expanded as the customer’s requirements propagate. Continuous updates of IP cameras and legacy analogue support, ensures that the system stays current within the market place.

For entry-level requirements, Mirasys Pro provides a platform for 5 users and 50 cameras. This can easily be upgraded to Enterprise, allowing up to 100 recorders and 6 400 cameras, all in one centrally managed environment. Enterprise can further be enhanced with features such as VCA, ANPR (automatic number plate recognition), management reporting and Agile Virtual Matrix (video walls).

For easy viewing, Spotter makes the management of cameras, screens and playback from multiple sites available in one package. Spotter also enables control of all your security products such as access control and intruder detection. Apart from Windows-based desktop machines, Spotter is also available on iPhone, iPad and Android based systems.

As previously mentioned, a full suite of VCA is available to enhance the system’s intelligence, as well as third-party integration. The ANPR can also be integrated into access control with a Web-based list-management system for ease of reporting and management. The Spotter Agile Virtual Matrix allows multiple sites to be managed on a single matrix, with a versatile control/keyboard allowing easy monitor setup that enables access to both live and playback video. Carbon reporting permits custom reports to be created using easily accessible Web-based tools.
