Gemalto has been ranked first in ABI Research’s latest competitive assessment of leading suppliers for government and healthcare electronic documents such as smart cards and passports, as well as associated solutions and services. The report that established Gemalto’s top ranking takes into account share of the ID market plus the following qualitative criteria:

* An innovative and comprehensive portfolio of platforms and services for governments and citizens.

* Advanced production capabilities and service delivery.
