ADT officers awarded for bravery

Four ADT reaction officers were awarded for outstanding performance at the annual Security Industry Alliance Crime Prevention Awards that took place at the Indaba Hotel on 12 November.

Reaction officers Samuel Nduli and Ephraim Makhesa, of ADT Northern Region, received a Platinum Award, and reaction officers Dennis Mhlongo and Alfred Ndlovu, of ADT Central Region, received a Bronze Award.

Officers Nduli and Makhesa were commended for saving two clients and their vehicles from a burning house in Monument Park, Pretoria. Officer Mhlongo was commended for the recent apprehension of three housebreaking suspects at premises in Birchleigh, Kempton Park, while officer Ndlovu was recognised for the apprehension of a suspect following an armed robbery at premises in Kelvin during which the clients were tied up and the house was ransacked.
