He is a previous chairman of The Black Management Forum, Gauteng, both at university and provincial level where he sat on the National Executive Committee. He is also a member of The Black Business Council of South Africa.

A firm believer in educating and assisting South Africans in achieving their potential, he established the TshepoDibe Technology Youth Foundation in 2003, which is currently co-operating with the UNESCO South African Commission. Dibe was also on the extended steering committee of The South African Women in Dialogue (SAWID) committee and was responsible for all the organisation’s ICT initiatives.

Dibe’s role in the above activities was to create, establish, network and influence private companies to invest and do business with the organisations. In this task, his extensive communication, networking and negotiation skills came to the fore and provided excellent results.

Some of his other achievements to date include:

* He was invited by Prof Vil-Nkomo (Executive Director of the University of Pretoria) to attend the 49th ICSB world conference in Sandton Convention Centre in 2004.

* Received the IAS (International Aids Society) Youth Scholarship to attend the World Aids Conference in Bangkok, Thailand from July to September 2004.

* He was sent by the UNESCO South African Commission to represent South Africa in Zambia in the News Diversification Strategies in Southern Countries conference in 2003.

* Dibe has been invited by the Vice-Rector of the University of Pretoria to attend and participate on behalf of the University in a Pugwash Conference, where he shared discussions with people like Clem Sunter (ex-chairman of Anglo American) and a few leaders from the London School of Business.

* He has also been invited to various business forums by Zanele Mbeki to address the youth.

Deon Bayly, CEO of Mtrack, said, “Mtrack is a South African company that is delivering excellent growth locally and internationally and we are on the hunt for high-calibre executives to drive the company forward. We are delighted to have someone of the calibre of Tshepo on board. Tshepo’s skills and experience will be of great benefit to the company going forward.”
