Brand New agency agreement for Avalon Biometrics

Brand New Technologies has announced it has signed the local agency for Avalon Biometrics. Headquartered in Madrid, Spain, Avalon focuses on the innovative development of homeland security solutions. It also offers implementation and integration of large and/or complex projects in the international public security sector including live and form-based enrolment, national registries, personalisation, quality assurance, document verification, secure border management, visa management, and nationwide identification systems for all common biometrics

According to Dave Crawshay-Hall, CTO at Brand New, Avalon are specialists in the field of live biometric capture for voter’s registration, national ID projects and many more civil ID and document verification applications. They are also one of the few companies in the world to have solid project references including several from South Africa already including a refugee and deportation project, an on-line identity verification tool, ePassport enrolment and ID card enrolment.

“Over the last few years we have fine-tuned our focus on identity management solutions and the comprehensive biometric software portfolio offered by Avalon will add real value to our existing offering,” explains Crawshay-Hall. “We are now able to provide clients with direct easy access to tried and trusted biometric software, backed by local and international expertise.”
