Veeam Software has announced two senior appointments in its South African business as it continues to invest in local market growth and partner and customer engagement.

Tracy Lona joins Veeam as territory manager for South Africa’s commercial business. She brings more than 25 years of enterprise technology sales experience, with a track record of building markets and high-performing teams across sub-Saharan Africa. Before joining Veeam, Lona spent over a decade at Red Hat, where she led regional expansion, achieving and exceeding quotas alongside the partner ecosystem and channel across multiple countries. Her earlier roles include senior sales positions at Dell and Bytes.
Abdullah Mohamed joins as technical account manager, providing proactive technical guidance and support to Veeam customers in South Africa. He brings hands-on experience in network and voice infrastructure, operational support, system upgrades, backup management , and performance monitoring. Prior to Veeam, Mohamed held engineering and customer success roles at Mimecast and BCX.
