SMART Security Solutions hosted its second SMART Surveillance conference on July 11th, 2024, at the Indaba Conference Centre in Fourways.

The attendees on the day represented a diverse range of companies in the security industry, as well as a multitude of end-users from diverse industries. From the feedback received, both verbal and in writing, the delegates enjoyed the day and found it educational and insightful.

Bosch Safety and Security was the Platinum Sponsor on the day, offering a presentation on its latest solutions for safe city environments, as well as a display with demonstrations of its latest firearm recognition analytics. Bosch was joined by other sponsors with their displays, namely Arteco, Axis, DeepAlert, and Lytehouse.

The presentations covered a broad range of topics, from trends to behavioural AI, drones, IoT and thermal imaging radar technology, and even lightning and surge protection for technology installations.

Our next conference will focus on mining security and will be held in Johannesburg on 29 August 2024.
