Fire Detection Industry Association (FDIA)

The FDIA (Fire Detection Industry Association) was formed in June 1999 to provide representation and leadership to the fire detection and gaseous extinguishing system industries.

The purpose of the FDIA is to uplift the quality and professionalism within the industry, through training and by informing its members, consulting engineers and specifiers, of changes and technologies within and affecting the industry, using this website and various social media platforms, thereby providing an overall service to the South African community.

This year, we are excited to be hosting a great lineup at the Fire Theatre, with some great speakers sharing their expertise and input in the fire detection industry. The FDIA will also take to the stage to give more information on the FDIA and answer some questions about the Fire Industry, regulations, and more.
