Gallagher padels out of 2023

Gallagher Security held an end-of-year function for its customers and partners in November, taking over the Padel courts at the Royal Johannesburg Golf Club for a day of fun, food and exercise on a blazingly hot summer’s day.

Apart from the food (and drinks, which were necessary on a boiling summer’s day) and the usual networking opportunities, everyone had a chance to try their hand at Padel. The players ranged from those who had experience in the game, to those who had never heard of it.

Fortunately, players were divided into teams and played the game with others with the same experience level, leading to a fun day for all and not too much swearing from the experienced players (or those of us who should stick to our laptops).

The beautiful venue was packed as many people joined Gallagher, happy to say goodbye to what was a challenging year for many. SMART Security Solutions even overheard a few informal sales pitches being delivered by the partners on hand and meetings set up for the new year. Let us hope this bodes well for the security business in 2024.
