Securi-Prod’s range of Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries (LiFePO4) are designed to be long lasting, fast charging, highly efficient and a necessity for all off-grid and backup power systems.
LiFePO4 batteries ensure business and security continuity through a number of features. Although denser than a Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) battery, the LiFePO4 battery is lightweight, but stores and discharges more energy over a longer period. The LiFePO4 battery charges quickly for shorter periods of time, while their fairly constant discharge rate means they deliver at almost full power right up until the battery is completely depleted.
Boasting better thermal and structural stability than either SLAs or Li-Ion, LiFePO4s often come with a built-in battery management system, allowing them to take the heat during charging and keep cool during usage. They also have a 95% efficiency rate and deliver over 3000 cycles at 80% Depth of Discharge.
LiFePO4 batteries are better for the environment as they are constructed from naturally occurring elements such as lithium iron phosphate in triphylite, as well as copper, iron and graphite. These batteries are also easier to recycle and reuse, with many of the materials from the original batteries being used to make more batteries.
Securi-Prod is sold through Regal Security Distributors, which stocks a range of LiFePO4 batteries starting at 12 volts, 7 Ah, up to 12 volts, 200 Ah.
