Navigating good building management

Issue 2/3 2023 News & Events, Facilities & Building Management

The Facilities Management Expo creates an interactive networking platform for building/facilities managers to identify plausible solutions for effectively managing their facilities. Co-located with the 30-year-old Securex South Africa exhibition, the long-established A-OSH EXPO and the newly launched Firexpo, Facilities Management Expo will be held at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand from 6 to 8 June 2023.

Mark Anderson.

“As a facility manager, you must always be at the top of your game. Without the right technology, and a good preventive maintenance plan in place, you can expect to face an uncountable number of damage control activities throughout the day. You will constantly receive urgent calls where you must figure out where to go and how to prioritise your tasks. Mitigating these challenges can be like finding a needle in a haystack. The Facilities Management Expo alleviates the pressure by presenting facilities management professionals with solutions geared around making the management process as intuitive and automated as possible,” says Mark Anderson, Portfolio Director at Specialised Exhibitions — a division of Montgomery Group.

Live demonstrations of products, one-on-one solution-finding sessions with exhibitors, and the opportunity to interact with peers, make a visit to the Facilities Management Expo imperative. Exhibitors include Core Vision EMEA, Broll, Vetria, Afroteq Advisory, Quatro Integrated Services, and Eureka Safety South Africa.

Visitors will also benefit from the targeted seminar themes in the free-to-attend Facilities Management Seminar Theatre powered by Broll, and the co-located free-to-attend Securex Seminar Theatre.

“While you’re at the Facilities Management Expo, why not also check out these additional features at the co-located expos? These include the K9 Law Enforcement Demos, SAIDSA Techman Competition, the new products displays, and the free-to-attend Saiosh Seminar Theatre and Working at Height Theatre (both situated in the A-OSH EXPO Hall),” says Anderson.
