SA Security becomes a part of Fidelity ADT

Issue 3 2022 Security Services & Risk Management

Wahl Bartmann.

Fidelity ADT has announced that it has concluded an agreement with SA Security Alarms & CCTV and has taken over the monitoring and armed response contract from 1 July 2022. SA Security customers will now form a part of Fidelity ADT and this partnership will integrate customers into the Fidelity Services Group.

Wahl Bartmann, group chief executive officer of Fidelity Services Group, says it has been demonstrated that companies that have a consolidated area footprint are better positioned to provide a quality security service. Fidelity ADT provides customers with an integrated, proactive and robust security and guarding service in a localised community-driven environment, and works to proactively mitigate crime in the communities in which it operates, backed by a strong footprint in local areas.

This partnership provides an opportunity to bring a wealth of added diversified experience and security knowledge to customers and to deliver a far more integrated security offering.

“The transition will be relatively seamless for SA Security customers whose monitoring, armed response and guarding contracts will automatically be transferred to Fidelity ADT, with no change in the monthly fee. Fidelity ADT has already started contacting customers to schedule an appointment to replace their current transmitter with a new transmitter if required. This will link them directly to the Fidelity ADT 24-hour emergency control centre. From 1 July all alarm activations and queries will be responded to by Fidelity ADT armed response units and monitoring centres,” says Bartmann.

He assures all customers that service will continue as normal during the transition. In the coming weeks customers will see the gradual replacement of the SA Security branding as well as changes to armed response uniforms, vehicle branding and signboards.

“To all our new customers, our focus going forward is to build and further improve on the exceptional service and quality you have come to expect. As Fidelity ADT, we will continue to protect your property, assets and loved ones with passion, integrity and commitment based on localised, community focussed and cost-effective solutions that will keep you safe. You will also have access to all the value-added services we have rolled out across the group, like our Safe Entry Service, Emergency Medical Assistance, Fidelity FindU and the option of using SecureHome and SecureConnect, which you can control through your smartphone,” concludes Bartmann.
