Secutel’s workforce management platform

Issue 3 2022 Surveillance

In the modern day and age, it is quite challenging managing our own lives let alone managing a team of critical workforce guards responsible for the safety of customers and their assets. However, with a solution such as SecuTraq, managing a workforce is easier.

Secutel Technologies’ SecuTraq Bodycam allows security companies to manage their workforce, increasing the layer of security support where needed in cases of emergencies, improving response and evidence collection.

The SecuTraq solution is used to monitor the movements and location of guards using GPS and also allows them to communicate with their colleagues and operational staff by sending panics, call-me, photos and videos in real-time to control rooms for improved response and decision-making in case of incidents. Through the use of geo-fencing, guard routes can be defined, scheduled and monitored by using various waypoints and time features.

The SecuTraq solution is a complete security workforce tracking and management platform that is cloud-based and easy to implement across customers’ locations and various client monitoring sites. The solution offers a user-friendly management platform that will allow customers the ability to monitor their guards and events triggered on various sites using a graphical user interface (GUI) rich in functionality and additional features as described below:

• Route definition, planning and scheduling for guards.

• Site and geo-fencing definition and setup.

• Time and attendance tracking and scheduling.

• Standard operation procedures (SOP) definition.

• Remote location monitoring via GPS or Bluetooth.

• Communication via photos, videos with group members/operational room controllers.

• Panic, push-to-talk and call-me features.

• Facial recognition for persons of interest.

• Number plate recognition for vehicles.

• Cloud-based, allowing analytics and ease of deployment.

The solution is deployed using Secutel Technologies all-in-one bodycams, smartphones with the SecuTraq app installed, or the SecuTraq SP16 cameras. Gathering this information on a real-time basis enables monitoring companies to make informed decisions and improve the productivity and performance of the workforce.
