Italian perimeter intrusion protection

Politec is an Italian company that, for over 30 years, has been designing, developing and producing perimeter intrusion detection systems, specially designed to detect the presence of break-ins and preventing any potential breach attempt.

All the products are designed to protect every external confine and every access: doors, windows, shutters and balconies or the perimeter of buildings (like a garden or an area bounded by a gate), to prevent theft but also damage to residential and industrial facilities.

For example, the Parvis product was developed specifically for residential contexts: it’s an infrared barrier that can be integrated with lighting systems, allowing it to be disguised as a streetlamp.

The technical knowledge and R&D; capabilities permitted Politec to create barriers with IP technology for integrated security solutions. Through the IP barrier upgrade, it’s possible to create systems with a single Ethernet-type infrastructure in order to manage and supervise a complete system that includes IR barriers, sensors and IP and CCTV cameras.

Politec has chosen to specialise in perimeter protection as it fulfils the chief aim of a prevention system: stopping the intrusion before the relevant area is directly accessed. Moreover, these solutions have a broad application range and protect areas of varying sizes, including residential contexts (independent villas), industrial environments (industrial sheds or zones) or even sensitive areas such as airports, prisons, photovoltaic fields, military bases, etc.

Plus, the Pet Immunity system allows avoidance of false alarms caused by the passage of animals, even of a large size. Politec is distributed in South Africa by Black Point Tech t/a BPT.
