New appointments at G4S Secure Solutions South Africa

G4S Secure Solutions South Africa has made two new senior appointments to strengthen its services to the local market.

Suveer Gajoo has been appointed as the managing director for G4S Secure Solutions South Africa. Gajoo joined G4S as finance manager, East Coast Region in 2009 and has over 16 years’ experience in the security industry. During his time with G4S, Gajoo has led a wide spectrum of business units, from traditional manned guarding, technology, integrated solutions, secure monitoring and response, secure cargo handling, close protection services, risk and consultancy.

He has been directly involved in several successful turnaround strategies leading to significant operational and financial improvements in the business. He sits on the boards of G4S Aviation and G4S Secure Solutions businesses in South Africa.

Gajoo holds an honours degree in Commerce from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Durban and completed the G4S Regional Leadership Programme in 2016.

MJ Oosthuizen has been appointed as electronic security systems director for G4S Secure Solutions South Africa.

Oosthuizen started his tenure at G4S as national sales operations manager in October 2017 where he was instrumental in driving revenue growth in both the manned and electronic security businesses. He took a leadership role in the technology business during July 2019 where, under his leadership, significant improvement was made on both financial and operational delivery to G4S customers and the business.

Oosthuizen’s leadership, passion for people and industry expertise has been warmly met by all and he is well known and respected in the industry. His commitment to his team and customers has seen G4S service standards reach new heights.

Oosthuizen brings 21 years’ experience spanning the IT industry, product management, security and IT distribution and manufacturing to the G4S fold.
