New emergency response management control room

Issue 6 2021 News & Events

Mobi-Claw911 has partnered with Royal HaskoningDHV to launch its new MC911 Cyber Control – an emergency control room that will help to save lives by making emergency response – either medical, criminal or fire, quicker and more seamless.

The Cyber Control cloud-based communication system centralises a report within seconds and is linked with the ER24 emergency call centre, ensuring patients receive quick emergency ground response from experienced first responders and paramedics skilled in handling emergency situations.

It is also equipped with the NAVIC licence plate recognition system allowing incident managers to circulate and monitor stolen or wanted cars.

“Our geo fencing software allows us to dispatch first responders more effectively and quicker than ever. When receiving the distress alert, we know who the victim is and where they are and the software immediately identifies the best and closest resources. In many cases we can dispatch those resources at the click of a button without telephonic communication,” says Mike Myers, CEO of Mobi-Claw911.

“Being able to verify some of the essential detail that emergency services often struggle to obtain in a high-emotion situation, makes it quicker and easier for responders to get to the scene of the incident and provide the necessary assistance,” he says.

Key to the control room’s success is its fully integrated incident management system, which is further supported by mobile units that add even more power to the emergency response that Mobi-Claw911 offers.

The control room’s software is fully integrated into the MC911 mobile panic app and MC911 remote panic device making it ideal for use at home or while away, says Rene Pearson, digital services lead at Royal HaskoningDHV.

“As we continue to see the rise in emergency incidents across the country, data and technology have an increasingly important role in improving emergency management and response. Our technology will further enable the success of Mobi-Claw911 to provide essential services to the people and communities they serve,” she adds.

With high crime rates and limited access to private healthcare, being as prepared as possible and having emergency response at your fingertips via an app-based service could be the difference between life and death.
