Keeping cool with the Suprema Thermal Camera

Supporting COVID precautionary measures, the Suprema Thermal Camera detects persons with elevated skin temperature. It connects easily with Suprema face recognition terminals via a USB interface and a bracket which is provided for convenient deployment on new and retrofit installs of FaceStation 2 and FaceStation F2.

The Suprema Thermal Camera measures the temperature quickly and accurately by combining its high-resolution camera (19 200 pixels) with a patented face recognition algorithm that pinpoints the upper area of the face. The temperature of the person requesting access is displayed on the face terminal’s GUI and an alert is raised if a temperature higher than the threshold is detected.
