Description: The hydraulic bollard offers varying levels of vehicular protection depending on the security requirements of the entrance. The bollards are installed in the roadway approximately 1.4m apart and can be manufactured from either 130mm, 220mm or 275mm diameter pipe, each having their own vehicle penetration characteristics. For instance, a 275mm diameter bollard of 800mm high will offer an impact resistance of a 2-ton vehicle travelling at 57km/h. The bollard control unit can be connected to a number of safety devices ensuring safe passage for an authorised vehicle. An emergency actuator for 1 second rising can also be supplied.

Description: The Talon is a high security automatic road spike barrier which provides a high level of physical security and an ominous visual deterrent. The barrier is manufactured from a combination of stainless steels and is then powder coated to suit the customer’s aesthetic requirements. Turnstar’s patented double spike ensures protection for vehicle traffic approaching from either direction, ensuring that the tyres of any unauthorised vehicles will be punctured. Two 100% duty cycle motors ensure that the barrier will perform under the harshest of conditions. A key feature of the Talon is the step-by-step process of the spikes lowering and then the barrier arm rising, thereby avoiding accidental collisions with a raised spike.
