Innovative products from Suprema at IFSEC SA 2014

i-Trust i-Sign

i-Trust i-Sign is geared to evolve into a biometric suite to capture and securely manage biometric identities in all aspects of life. i-Trust allows you to sign onto Windows using Suprema hardware. Fully integrated into the current Microsoft Windows Security Accounts Management, i-Trust allows you to easily make use of biometric authentication with Suprema hardware for Microsoft Windows. Built in account network distribution allows administrators to transfer accounts from machine to machine centrally within their Enterprise making logical access control and administration ‘that much easier’. Active Directory integration is currently undergoing testing and will be available soon.

PocketOps

Supreme ProSync pocketOps, the workforce management smart phone application that enables managers to control Suprema devices from their smartphone, view statistics and graphs, manage alarms and interact with the control room - keeping managers up-to-date wherever they are. The latest enhancements include GPS functionality with features such as GPSign-in, Photo evidence/collaboration and GPStaff-track. These functions utilise smartphones to allow staff sign-in at predefined geo-locations, collect and share photo evidence with project members or control centres as well as tracking staff in real-time. pocketOps is fully integrated with EasyRoster.

SmartProtect - BioStar & Milestone integration

SmartProtect is a plug-in for the Milestone Video Management Software (VMS). It allows centralisation of data from BioStar into Milestone thereby enhancing business intelligence. All information is accessible on Milestone allowing monitoring of fire, surveillance, alarms and now access from one location. SmartProtect saves time in critical situations by providing seamless access to required data, in one place.

The Suprema range is now fully integrated into SmartProtect making all information from Suprema's BioStar available in Milestone. All Suprema alarm and access events are fed directly into Milestone and tagged to video recordings.

Milestone integrates with over 1 800 IP cameras from 100+ manufacturers with more than a 100 000 installations worldwide. This development provides Suprema users with a sophisticated open platform VMS to offer a total security solution. Current Milestone users can now also easily add Suprema’s internationally acclaimed access control to their VMS.

Supreme ProSync real-time workforce management

ProSync Biometric enabled Workforce Management is focused on businesses requiring real-time attendance information for seamless operational management. It offers fingerprint enabled personnel deployment management for static and mobile sites, operates over fixed or mobile networks and eliminates redundant processes such as cell phone check-in and manual registers, which are prone to fraud and reliant on expensive supervision. pocketOps, ProSync’s smart phone extension, offers system users real-time access to operational data, keeping them up-to-date with operational issues that need immediate attention. pocketOps also enables remote biometric enrolment, GPS sign-in, door control and alarm notifications for iOS and Android platforms. ProSync is fully integrated with EasyRoster.

BioStar and IndigoVision Integrated

IndigoVision is a leading manufacturer of end-to-end IP video security solutions. Its enterprise class systems improve organisations' operational efficiency, enhance public safety and enable timely emergency response.

IndigoVision’s Control Center Eagle 11 has now been integrated with Suprema’s BioStar Access Control suite. The integration offers dynamic mapping of BioStar’s Access Control Zones, doors and devices with IndigoVision detector and camera zones and allows for feeding BioStar alarms and events into IndigoVision. Seamlessly integrating BioStar and IndigoVision’s complete IP Video Security Solution bridges the gap between video and access control. Movement within the access control system can now trigger live video, automated PTZ action, create user video bookmarks and automated notification, enabling fast response time and effective forensic video investigation managed through a single platform.

This development provides Suprema users with a sophisticated VMS to offer a total security solution. Current IndigoVision users can now also easily add Suprema’s internationally acclaimed access control to their VMS.

Imfundo Learning Program

Imfundo-SA is an holistic approach to education improvement that uses technology, learner performance management and extensive communication to parents and education stakeholders. The system is used to monitor and improve the productivity of educators, while optimising aspects such as homework assistance by parents and makes available additional content to both learners and parents. The system is implemented on Oracle Technology and can handle 24 000 schools. Extensive reporting assists all stakeholders in education to take appropriate action. Suprema is the selected biometric partner for the programme and has been working with Imfundo-SA to establish the best means of monitoring the attendance of the children

Greenbox integrates Suprema

The GreenBox was developed by Meniko RMS to fulfil a need for a multifunction device that can scan physical documents, Identity documents, passports and drivers licenses. Scan fingerprints, capture digital signatures and ID photographs.

It also includes biometric verification functionality which can be used for the verification of an individual as required by various acts such as FICA and RICA and financial market KYC requirements. This functionality can be used in any environment where identity theft needs to be prevented or the requirement to ensure an individual is who they say they are.

GreenBox recently integrated Suprema and will be launched at IFSEC SA 2014. It offers end-users the choice of Suprema’s internationally recognised hardware and award winning algorithms. It features the latest S20 500 dpi slim optical sensor with FBI-PIV and mobile ID FAP20 certification. The large platen size ensures easy capturing and includes live finger detection. It also supports capturing in harsh environments and direct sunlight up to 100 000 LUX.

The new GreenBox will be available through Suprema’s African reseller network and will be introduced to International Distribution partners at the Suprema Global Partner Program later this year.
