MV Tronics to distribute Panasonic

September 2012 Surveillance

MV Tronics is a South African company providing sales and after-sales service for electronic equipment, with a particular focus on security surveillance products in southern Africa. The company is managed and owned by Meetesh Rameshchandra, who has 21 years of experience in the service industry. MV Tronics is a Level 4 BEE company.

MV Tronics has partnered in supporting the following two international brands: Axis Communications and Panasonic Security Solutions. Axis Communications South Africa appointed MV Tronics as its official RMA Centre to provide it and its dealers and clients with full after sales service and support.

“We were able to achieve this as we have invested in all the tools, specialised jigs and parts necessary to cost effectively repair the products,” says Rameshchandra. “We understand the importance of a quick and efficient repair experience without sacrificing quality, as this is what is ultimately expected in the security industry.”

MV Tronics also became the official CCVE sales, service and support partner for all Panasonic security products, specialising in IP network and analogue security equipment. This partnership now sees MV Tronics handling the support and distribution of Panasonic security products from Reutech Solutions as part of an Enterprise Development Programme. The takeover included all stock, and the transfer of all clients, including dealers, resellers and integrators.

“We believe in the Panasonic brand as it has a rich history in the security business, developing some of the most ground-breaking technology over the past 50 years,” explains Rameshchandra. “We have therefore invested in maintaining and supporting our local market, especially the existing clients who have also invested in the brand.

“Panasonic offers cutting edge technology when it comes to security surveillance products and the brand is well established in the global market. MV Tronics is bringing the South African market back into that same network. We are currently looking for partners for the distribution of Panasonic security products.”

Rameshchandra adds, “Panasonic was a pioneer in the security industry with great performing products and for this reason are continuing to produce and support analogue systems. Its product portfolio ranges from analogue cameras, video management software and network video recorders to the latest in IP technology, such as full HD and H.264 network cameras. Panasonic offers an end-to-end full HD solution, which includes a huge range of cameras, licence-free network recorders, control units and software. This includes hybrid solutions that provide a smooth migration from analogue to IP.”

MV Tronics provides a warranty on all Panasonic security products it distributes.
