AIT was pleased with the positive response and quality leads generated on its stand at Securex 2000. The stand received many complementary remarks for its design with special reference to the openness and displays on the stand. AIT was awarded the "Highly Commended Stand Award" from the organisers TML Reed for the category medium size stand awards. Well done to all responsible for this achievement.
Occasions like these also serve as a motivation to bring new products to the market. From a marketing point of view the two newly SA produced videos giving an overview of the AIT technology produced to date, were well received and copies have been requested all over. The new brochures produced for the exhibition also collected many complements and will be distributed on an international basis.
More important, however, was the reaction of the attendants to the AIT products on display. The live demonstrations of the Link-IT PC access control system were very popular and drew quality attention. The type of inquiries raised by the asset management demonstration proved the Link-it product range is in time for the introduction of a new era of wireless identification between people, assets and locations - Real Time Resource Control.
