Steven Wagner joins HID as Vice President of Business Development

HID Corporation recently announced that Steven Wagner has joined the company in the capacity of Vice President of Business Development for its ProxTrax, eProx and Wiegand Sensors business units. Steven, who will be located at HID's Wiegand Research Facility in North Haven, Connecticut, will be responsible for evaluating new business opportunities for HID's advanced security products.

"Steven brings significant industry expertise to our new business efforts. He has an excellent background in security, having been responsible for sales and marketing, as well as product design and development of access control products in his previous positions," stated Don Nelson, HID President. "His addition to our management team underscores HID's leadership in the radio-frequency identification (RFID) market."

Prior to joining HID, Steven held the position of Vice President Sales and Marketing with Checkpoint Systems, for its Access Control Product Group.
